Brief note: The band of hateful good for nothings from the Westboro Baptist Church (of Topeka, Kansas) are scheduled to come to Montpelier tomorrow to rail against our gay-loving ways (before heading on to Burlington to hurl invective at jews and jew-lovers far and wide).
I briefly considered taking my kids to their "picketing" event at Montpelier High-school (why the hell are they going to a high school?), but after finally accessing their schedule of events it's clear that this is just too vile to be turned into a Learning Experience.
I wish we could all just ignore them (because really they are just looking for publicity, aren't they?), but this kind of scary shit is impossible to ignore. I'll drop the kids off at school and meet up with these fine people afterward.
